Construction News: We continue to manage the construction of numerous projects. From small planting plans to entire estates, our approach to construction supervision remains the same: pay very close attention to the details while maintaining an appropriate timeline and encouraging fine craftsmanship. Construction is underway, beginning with the excavation and formwork for the swimming pool. Check back here again over the next few months for updated construction photos as the new garden unfolds.
Construction began in 2007 with the grading and the masonry work. Below, see the retaining wall in the back yard approaching completion, as well the terrace of brick and bluestone with curved bands of basalt. The first phase of construction is now complete, and the second phase, including planting, will commence in the spring of 2008.
A Traditional Hilltop Residence-
Masonry work in the front and
back gardens is underway. The swimming pool and surrounding terrace
are also under construction. In the spring of 2008, construction of
the house will be completed and planting of the gardens will
commence.
