Joel Port
In 2001, Joel graduated with a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Washington State University. An emphasis on ecology fostered his appreciation for the interconnectedness of natural and man-made systems. Being a landscape designer with SHWA has allowed Joel to further explore his stewardship role for a variety of projects.
Joel’s experience with design, project management, construction detailing, gardening and landscape maintenance make him an integral member of our design team.
Endeavors in alpinism and travel further enrich Joel’s environmental awareness and inform his design approach.
